E-Class Wins Top Safety Pick

The redesigned 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class luxury vehicle earned the 2010 Top Safety Pick awards from the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety. The Top Safety Pick award recognizes vehicles that earn a "good" rating -- the highest available -- for front, side, rollover, and rear crash protection. The award is only given to vehicles that also have electronic stability control, which comes standard on the E-Class. Design changes and improvements to the front and rear doors for better protection on side-impact crashes enabled the E-Class to capture this years rating.
